About KHATWA for improving job quality
KHATWA aims to raise awareness about job quality and to support SMEs in getting access to services that meet their needs and demands in this field. Its success lies in establishing close networks with SMEs nationwide, thereby significantly influencing employment potentials. KHATWA’s endeavors are piloted in the Suez Canal region by the Federation for Economic Development Associations (FEDA) and its member associations and aspires to disseminate around other governorates in Egypt. KHATWA is supported by the Labour Market Access Project (LMAP), which is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
