Objectives of FEDA

1. Participating in discussions of issues concerning SMEs conditions and in formulating policies aiming at developing the vital sector of SMEs.
2. Training FEDA members on participating in the general policies, observing the elections and the awareness to the legal and constitutional rights.
3. Institutional capacity development of the Federation and its member associations.
4. Proposing legislation, or amendment thereof, that contributes to tackling SMEs problems and supporting or developing them, plus the legislations that contribute to the economic and social development.
5. Promoting cooperation with government bodies and foreign donors willing to support SMEs.
6. Helping member associations in approaching financial institutions and donors for fund raising.
7. Helping in reducing unemployment through helping in creating job opportunities and participating in formulating the employment strategy in Egypt.
8. Diversifying SMEs activities and opening new windows of opportunities for them.
9. Enhancing women’s role in formulating the policies of economic and social development.
10. Setting up a marketing strategy for helping SMEs penetrate domestic and international Markets.
11. Upgrading member associations’ capacity to adopt advocacy and networking issues.
12. Creating a permanent dialogue among the Federation and its member associations in one hand and between them and decision makers on the other hand, to handle the lacks in the legislations and the articles that contribute to SMEs.
