Federation task

In the light of the role that can be played by small and medium enterprises in making real economical development in Egypt, and proceeding from the desire of the owners of small and medium enterprises to have a more active role in discussing and making the decisions to organize small and medium enterprises ,in the context offered by the legal channels to the owners of small and medium enterprises , the number of NGOs that work in the field of economical development and which is concerned with the development of small and medium enterprises has increased in most of the governorates of A.R.E. when all of their aims met , they agreed to establish a federation to express their aims and seek to achieve their aspirations to a bigger role to small and medium enterprises to achieve economical development in A.R.E. The constituent Assembly of Economical Development and Income Development Associations met and the federation has been officially established in April, 7th 2001, according to the decision of the Minister of Social Affairs no.70/2001.
The federation includes those associations who work in the field of economical development through supporting small and medium enterprises and the ability to join the federation is available for all the associations who work for economical development in all the governorates of A.R.E. according to a group of conditions and criteria of which the federation has approved to guarantee the ability of the member associations to adopt the issues and economical policies that support the economical development in A.R.E.

FEDA seeks to support the participation in civil society to adopt the issues that participate in building economic and social development through developing small and medium enterprises in participation with the NGOs, FEDA members in Egypt .
FEDA also seeks to create a continues conversation between decision makers at one side and small and medium enterprises representatives at the other side , to guarantee that the legislations and regulations agree with small and medium enterprises' requirements in A.R.E. and the participation in stating the policies that concern economic and social development .
