Project: Empowering Small Business to Close the Implementation Gap
FEDA held the first workshop in Port Said governorate as part of the implementation of the Small Business Empowerment Program to close the gap in implementing and activating government procurement laws to ensure that small businesses can obtain the percentages allocated to them from the government procurement stipulated by law.
In this project, the Federation of Economic Development Associations (FEDA) and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) are working to produce a comprehensive study on the implementation gap about the allocated proportion of government procurement to small projects and the implementation. The Federation of Economic Development Associations is taking advantage of its strong network of small and medium-sized companies across Egypt to collect data, conduct a comprehensive study on the implementation gap and present its recommendations to the competent authorities.
